Safee Sali the milllionaire

Saffee Sali is one lucky bastard.

2 million ringgit lucky that is, unthinkable if you ask me, but make no mistake, he deserved every cent of it, so being a profesional fotballer is a lucrative profession after all, an open secret really, expecially when you look at the English premier league player salary. Wayne bridge was on 95k pound per week.

Say who again?

Once a Chelsea faithful and now a Sunderland player, was actually paid that much, don't let me start with other well known figures, rumour has it that Adebayour was on a 225k pound a week. Crazy, i tell you.

Okay back to Safee, he may be not the first to venture out plying his trade but surely he was one with a successful story to boot. He is that good.A natural striker, his eyes for goals is second to none in the local scene at the moment. Give and take, Shahrul Idlan Talaha and few others, Safee just a cut above the rest right now. A good bargain, one might add, compared to Fernando Torres, but he is on a different league, how la to compare apple with orange? Well a striker is a striker, regardless of the league, his job is to score goals, where Torres failed miserably at his job, Safee done exceptionally well to deserve a proper compliment. So thats that.

I have always feel that footballers are overly paid, but somehow in a weird way the industry thought otherwise.
